Woman with Very Small Hands Reading a Book24" x 24" If this lady were to raise her eyes from her book for a moment to gaze upon the landscape, she'd see a rolling field of mustard-yellow canola under a beautiful prairie sky -- clearly this painting is set in Saskatchewan! I assume it's a copy of some well known genre painting from the classical canon (possibly Flemish or Dutch), but I don't know which one. Perhaps some art history type out there recognizes it. If you do, please let me know.
