It was boxy and small, but in 1932 the Servel Hermetic must have seemed like "The housekeeper's dream come true!"(to quote the introduction) compared to the ice box it replaced. This booklet bears the stamp of the Wilson Coal & Coke Ltd. of Calgary, Alberta, distributors of Electrolux and Servel refrigerators. Contents include instructions on placement and wrapping of food, defrosting, menu suggestions and recipes.
