Cookbooks published by food companies can get very "creative" when it comes to uses for their products -- like Pillsbury's version of lasagna, which doesn't have any noodles in it. Instead, Golden Flaky [sic] Topping, made with slices of Pillsbury Flaky [sic] Biscuits crown layers of ground beef in tomato sauce alternating with layers of cottage cheese and spinach mixture and shredded mozzarella.
The ghastly repast at right looks like it might be an ideal menu for a Hallowe'en party but it's touted as food for a shower (not a baby shower, I hope, for the well-being of mother and child-to-be). Sparkling Punch

2 quarts water
1 package Pillsbury Lime Funny Face Drink Mix
1 package Pillsbury Lemon Funny Face Drink Mix
2 pints lime sherbet, softened
2 quarts low calorie carbonated lemon-lime beverage
1/4 cup lemon juice

YIELD: ABOUT 9 CUPS

Combine water and drink mixes. Beat gradually into sherbet. Add lemon-lime beverage and lemon juice. Serve immediately with additional scoops of sherbet, if desired.
