Snack-Time Toastwiches

1 12-ounce can luncheon meat
1 cup (1/4 pound) grated process cheese
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup chopped sweet pickles
1 tablespoon grated onion
12 slices bread
Prepared mustard
2 eggs
3/4 cup undiluted CARNATION EVAPORATED MILK

Shred luncheon meat in bowl. Add cheese, mayonnaise, pickles and onion. Mix well. Spread bread lightly with mustard, if desired. Spoon luncheon meat mixture on 6 bread slices and spread evenly. Top with remaining bread slices. Cut sandwiches diagonally. Beat eggs lightly in pie plate. Blend Carnation into egg. Dip both sides of sandwich into egg-milk mixture. Place on cookie sheets. Broil 5-7 inches from heat in preheated broiler. Turn. Allow about 5-7 minutes for browning both sides of sandwich. Serve hot.

"Toss Up" Salad Dressing

1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons vinegar
1 cup undiluted CARNATION EVAPORATED MILK
1/3 cup catsup
2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon onion salt

Gradually stir lemon juice and vinegar into Carnation. Add remaining ingredients. Stir well. Place in covered container or jar with lid. Chill well before pouring over salad greens.
