Gimme an "H" -- for Heinz, maker of Curried Beans with Sultanas, Vegetable Salad in Mayonnaise, Mixed Fruit Sponge Pudding, Rajah Pickle, Mock Turtle Soup and other products we've never heard of on this side of the pond. Poor England, the butt of so many culinary jokes. I find the food of the British Isles -- whether it's Yorkshire pudding or bangers and mash -- fascinatingly exotic. But then, I never had to eat it.
