#32. Moose

This glass wall plaque was painted on both sides to give the scene the illusion of depth. The foreground (moose, tree, ground) are painted on the front while the mountains and sky are on the back. A souvenir of Clinton, B.C., hand-painted by H. Smith of Vancouver. Curiously, this work is titled "The Cariboo" when clearly it is a very handsome moose.
